MAN Truck & Bus has unveiled its first new truck generation for 20 years, promising new levels of comfort, safety, efficiency, reliability and service, as well as connectivity and digitalisation.
The new models will deliver fuel savings of up to 8%, says the manufacturer, and will set new standards for assistance systems and digital networking, it predicts.
The line-up features the TGL, TGM, TGS and TGX models, from 7.5 to 41 tonnes. There are eight new cab options across the ranges and, says MAN, key to the new generation is the Euro VI D engine range, first introduced in 2019, as well as improved aerodynamic body design.
As before, the TGX is designed for long-haul and heavy-duty applications, and comes with three engine choices: the D38, delivering up to 631bhp; the D26, offering from 424bhp to 503bhp; and the D15, from 326bhp to 35bhp.
